Vagabonds

The Vagabonds like to talk, especially about ourselves. Below is a short biography about each of the Vagabonds from who their favorite pirate is to what they’re currently working on.

THE VAGABONDS

Manda Manda has been trying to write a romance novel for years, but alas, life has often gotten in the way. This year, finally, after years of false starts, and with the help of her Vagabond posse, she’s finally completed a manuscript, a Victorian Historical called Portrait of a Nightingale. When not travelling in the gypsy caravan, Manda can be found at her day job, trying to teach America’s youth the better points of library research, and cataloging like the wind. Élodie A self-confessed procrastinator, Élodie waited years to start that first book. Although she always fancied herself something of a writer, she never pursued it until one day happening upon a merry band of gypsies travelling about from manuscript to manuscript and decided to join them. Currently, she is working on her first manuscript about a hoyden daughter of a Vicar and her sexy, sexy earl—think Richard Armitage. When she isn’t working her manuscript, she’s working on her Richard Armitage obsession and, in her spare time, a PhD.
Lindsey Though Lindsey came to romance novels late in life, she’s well and truly hooked! Like Manda and Elodie, she is an Avon Fanlit survivor (where she was a four time finalist) and has done her time in grad school, again like Manda and Elodie, and has the degree to prove it! When she’s not busy blogging or making book trailers for Eloisa James, Toni Blake and Diane Gaston, Lindsey is working on a million different projects at once. Most of which she actually finishes!
Janga Janga started reading her mother’s romance novels the summer she turned ten and has continued to be an avid reader of romance. Even a Ph. D. in English and years in academia were not enough to diminish her love of the genre. The enthusiasm of aspiring romance writers on the Eloisa James bulletin board refired her dream of writing a romance novel. She is in the process of revising her first mss, The Long Way Home, a contemporary with a Southern accent.
